The selective catalytic reduction system uses AdBlue (urea solution) to reduce NOx emissions. The system monitors fluid quality and level, and if a fault is detected, it displays a warning with a countdown of remaining starts before the engine will no longer start. Common failure points include NOx sensors (€250-500 each, two fitted), the AdBlue injector (€300-500), and the SCR tank temperature sensor, which cannot be replaced separately and requires full tank replacement (€1,000-1,500).
