BMW 218d Gran Coupe F44

A widely reported defect on F40 1 Series and F44 Gran Coupe instrument clusters: the white speedo and tacho needles in the digital display become dim, faded, or invisible during daytime operation. The root cause is a dead power line for the daylight illumination of the needles.
