The first modern Skoda Superb was built on a stretched VW Passat B5 platform, offering genuine executive-class space at a fraction of the price. The 2.0 TDI PD (engine code BSS, 140 hp) was available from 2005 to 2008 and uses the Pumpe-Duse unit injector system with a DPF and twin balance shafts.
