The Sealion 7 peaks at 230 kW DC charging, but the LFP Blade Battery loses charging speed more dramatically in cold weather than NMC-based competitors. As of early 2026, the Sealion 7 does not automatically precondition the battery when navigating to a fast charger. Owners must warm the battery by driving for 20-30 minutes before a charging stop for best results. Above 50% state of charge, the charging rate drops significantly (often below 80 kW).
