The fastest Model Y ever produced, and the top-spec variant of Tesla's Juniper refresh. With 461 kW from dual motors, 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, adaptive suspension, and 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 wheels, it competes with cars far above its price bracket on straight-line performance. Built at Giga Berlin for European delivery, benefiting from improved build quality over earlier Model Y generations. The Juniper platform brings acoustic glass, a stiffer body structure, and a single-piece rear casting.· more· less

Common Problems
New platform with teething issues, but strong fundamentals
The Juniper Performance brings genuine improvements to the Model Y platform: stiffer body, better NVH, improved build quality from Giga Berlin, and the most powerful Model Y drivetrain yet. However, as a first-year production car, it has documented teething issues. The front suspension noise affects a majority of early builds and required service bulletins to address. The fundamentals remain strong: no engine, no gearbox oil, no exhaust system, and an 8-year warranty on the most expensive components. Most issues identified so far are fixable under warranty or via OTA updates. Budget for expensive 21-inch staggered tire replacements and inspect for suspension noise before purchase.
