Quirky compact crossover that defined the small SUV segment when it launched. The 1.2 DIG-T arrived with the 2014 facelift as Nissan's downsized turbo petrol, replacing the older 1.6 naturally aspirated unit on lower trims. Common Problems
Production date matters more than mileage
The Juke F15 1.2 DIG-T is reasonable on paper but its reliability hinges on whether the ECM software update was applied. Engines built before early 2016 that never received the fix are at much higher risk of oil consumption and resulting damage. Post-2016 production and updated cars have a notably better record, though timing chain wear and CVT longevity still need attention.
