NIO ET7 75 kWh Mk1
Render © Car Checker

NIO's flagship electric sedan with a dual-motor AWD drivetrain producing 653 hp and 850 Nm. The 75 kWh battery offers around 445 km WLTP range, and the car features air suspension, a LiDAR-equipped sensor suite (Aquila), and NIO's swappable battery architecture. Build quality and ride comfort are praised by reviewers, but NIO's European presence is shrinking: swap station expansion has stalled, spare parts can take weeks to arrive, and the brand's long-term commitment to Europe remains uncertain.· more· less

Common Problems
Capable car, but European support infrastructure is a real concern
The NIO ET7's dual-motor drivetrain and battery technology are broadly sound, with no widespread powertrain failures reported. The documented 12V charging module issue is serious but appears rare. The more tangible risk for European buyers is NIO's shrinking service presence: parts delays, closing showrooms, stalled swap station expansion, and uncertain long-term commitment to the market. If NIO strengthens its European operations, the ET7 could age well. If NIO retreats further, service and resale value will suffer significantly.
