Common Problems
Promising platform but still earning its reliability stripes
The Avenger e-Hybrid avoids the worst of the older PureTech wet-belt era by using the new chain-driven engine, but the e-DCT6 transmission and Uconnect software are widely reported pain points. Most issues can be resolved by software updates and should be covered under Jeep's 2-year EU warranty on early cars. Prioritise examples with all recalls and software updates documented.
