The Zeekr X's infotainment system runs on a custom Android-based platform and has been widely reported to freeze, lag, or become unresponsive. Android Auto connectivity is particularly affected, with the system becoming too laggy to use reliably without a hard reset. Zeekr has issued OTA updates (OS 1.2 and 1.3) that addressed several bugs, including driver distraction settings not persisting and passenger seat heating turning off after two minutes. Factory reset functionality was added via software update. Most freezes are resolved by holding the power button for 10-15 seconds. If the head unit fails to recover after OTA updates, reflashing the system at a service center costs approximately €200-400. A small number of owners have reported blue screens with Chinese text after failed OTA updates, requiring a dealer visit to resolve.

Many Zeekr X owners report that the key fob's CR2032 battery drains alarmingly fast, sometimes within a month of delivery. One owner reported a dead fob battery at less than 500 km on the odometer. The fob appears to transmit continuously or remain in an active state, depleting the battery far quicker than expected. When adaptive cruise control follows these incorrect readings, the car may brake unexpectedly or accelerate inappropriately. The root cause appears to be the camera-based detection system (the Zeekr X lacks radar cruise control). Like many EVs, the Zeekr X can experience 12V auxiliary battery drain, particularly when left plugged into a charge point for several days after the main battery reaches full charge.
