Zeekr's compact electric crossover, built on Geely's SEA platform (shared with the Volvo EX30 and Smart #1). The dual-motor AWD version delivers 315 kW (428 hp) and reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds from a 66 kWh LFP battery. European deliveries began in the Netherlands and Sweden in late 2023, with Germany following in early 2026. The car has received strong safety ratings (Euro NCAP 5 stars) and offers premium interior quality, but software maturity, NVH refinement, and the thin European dealer network are the main ownership concerns for early adopters.· more· less

Common Problems
New-to-market EV with software growing pains but strong fundamentals
The Zeekr X AWD is built on proven Geely SEA platform hardware shared with the Volvo EX30 and Smart #1, but being a first-generation model from a new European brand means software maturity and dealer infrastructure are still developing. The most common complaints involve infotainment reliability, key fob battery drain, and NVH from the frameless door design. Mechanical reliability appears solid so far, with no widespread drivetrain or battery failures reported. The generous 5-year (extendable to 10-year) warranty mitigates many of these risks for early adopters, and OTA updates have steadily improved software stability.
