Common Problems
Promising hardware with software that needs maturing
The Leapmotor B10's LFP battery and electric drivetrain are mechanically straightforward, and the car achieved strong Euro NCAP safety scores. The main ownership risks are software-related: intrusive ADAS, settings that reset overnight, V2L firmware bugs that can immobilize the car, and occasional OBC failures affecting AC charging. Most of these issues are being addressed through OTA updates. As a brand-new model from a new-to-Europe manufacturer, long-term reliability data does not yet exist. The Stellantis dealer network provides reasonable service coverage, but specialist EV knowledge at dealerships may vary.

Recalls and Technical Service Bulletins
No formal safety recalls issued as of early 2026 Verify with VIN
The Leapmotor B10 is a very new model with European sales starting in late 2025. No formal safety recalls have been issued as of early 2026. Contact a Stellantis/Leapmotor dealer with the VIN to verify the current recall status and that all OTA software updates have been applied.
Warranty Status
Factory vehicle warranty 4 years / 100,000 km (whichever comes first)
High-voltage battery warranty 8 years / 160,000 km, minimum 80% capacity retained
Statutory warranty (Germany) 2 years from dealer purchase (Gewährleistung)
As the B10 only launched in Europe in late 2025, most used examples will still be within the 4-year factory warranty. Verify warranty transfer conditions with the selling dealer. The warranty does not require servicing at official Leapmotor dealers, but service records should be maintained. The Stellantis dealer network provides parts and service support across Europe.
