2013-2017 · 3.0 V6 TDI biturbo (313-326 hp) diesel, quattro with ZF 8-speed Tiptronic
The first diesel S-model in Audi's history. The SQ5 8R pairs the twin-sequential-turbo 3.0 V6 TDI with a ZF 8-speed torque converter automatic and permanent quattro all-wheel drive. It delivers 313 hp (326 hp in the later Competition variant) and 650 Nm, enough for a 5.1-second 0-100 km/h sprint. The V6 TDI block is fundamentally strong, and the ZF gearbox is far more reliable than the DL501 dual-clutch fitted to standard Q5 models. However, the biturbo setup, engine valley gaskets, and emissions hardware all demand attention at higher mileages.· more· less
